Apex first released with 8 original characters,
6 which were available to play with 2 available to buy with either points earned in game (Legend tokens) or Apex Coins (in game currency).

Despite starting with a small pool of characters, we are now up to 18 playable characters,
to play the new members of the team you have to first purchase them with either the Legend tokens you've earned or Apex Coins.
